Signals not appearing

Signals aren't showing up, what to check

1. Is the watchlist active?

Go to Settings > Watchlists and confirm the watchlist status shows Active, not Paused or Draft. A paused watchlist collects no signals.

2. When did you last run a scan?

Click Run Now on the watchlist to trigger an immediate scan. If this is a new watchlist, the first scan can take 5-15 minutes. Subsequent scans are faster.

3. Are the company domains correct?

Revnox matches signals to companies using their root domain. Common errors:

• Using a subdomain: use company.com, not app.company.com
• Using the wrong TLD: company.io and company.com are different companies
• Using the parent company domain for a subsidiary

4. Are signal types enabled?

In watchlist settings, check that the signal categories you expect are enabled. If you deselected "Hiring" during setup, hiring signals won't appear even if the company is actively hiring.

5. Are API keys configured?

Some signal sources require your own API keys:

• Go to Settings > Integrations
• Confirm LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and Hunter keys are saved and valid
• Click Test next to each key to verify connectivity

6. Is the company actually generating signals?

Not all companies produce signals at all times. A small, stable company with no recent news, no job postings, and no active LinkedIn presence will genuinely have no signals. Try monitoring for 7-14 days before concluding signals are missing.
