What are buying signals?
Buying signals are events or behaviors that indicate a company may be ready to purchase. Revnox monitors your watched companies and surfaces these signals automatically.
Signal categories
Revnox tracks 14 signal categories:
- Funding: Rounds raised, amounts, investors
- Hiring: SDR/BDR, engineering, marketing, leadership roles
- Executive changes: New hires and departures at C-level
- Product launches: New products, features, pivots
- Tech stack changes: Tools added or removed
- LinkedIn posts: Content from key decision makers
- Competitor activity: Switches and complaints about competitors
Signal strength
Every signal has a strength score from 0-100 that decays over time:
- 80-100 (green): Very strong, act NOW
- 50-79 (amber): Moderate, good timing
- 20-49 (gray): Weakening, window closing
- <20: Expired, signal is stale
A funding round starts at 95 strength but halves every 30 days.
Correlations
When multiple signals align for the same company, like funding + hiring SDRs, that's a correlation. Correlations multiply the account's score by 2-3x. These are your hottest prospects.
