Smart list queries

What is a Smart List?

Smart Lists let you query your lead and account database using plain English instead of filters. The AI interprets your intent, translates it into structured criteria, and returns a ranked list of matching records.

How to search

Go to Leads > Smart List and type your query in the search bar. Press Enter or click Search.

Example queries

By signal activity:

"Companies with funding signals in the last 30 days that match my ICP"

"Leads where the CEO posted on LinkedIn this week"

By company characteristics:

"Series A SaaS companies with fewer than 100 employees in the US"

"Accounts with high ICP score but no outreach yet"

By engagement:

"Leads who opened my last email but didn't reply"

"Contacts at companies that are hiring SDRs right now"

By time window:

"New leads added this week with signal strength above 70"

How AI interprets queries

The query goes through three stages:

  • Intent parsing: AI identifies the key entities (company stage, signal type, time window, engagement state)
  • Criteria mapping: Intent maps to structured database fields and signal tables
  • Ranked results: Results are scored by ICP match × signal strength, not just filter matches
  • Tips for better queries

    • Include time windows ("in the last 30 days") for signal-based searches
    • Specify signal types when you know what you're looking for
    • Combine ICP + signal criteria for the most focused results
    • If results are too broad, add "high ICP score" or "strong signals" to narrow
