Building a sequence

A campaign sequence is a series of email steps with delays between them. Revnox sends each step automatically based on the schedule you define.

Creating steps

Go to Campaigns > New Campaign, then click Add Step. For each step:

  • Choose email account: The sending account for this step
  • Write subject line: Use {{first_name}} and {{company}} merge fields, or let AI Writer generate it
  • Write body: Plain text is best for deliverability; use AI Writer to personalize with signals
  • Set delay: How many days after the previous step (minimum 1 day)
  • Recommended sequence structure

    • Step 1: Signal-referenced cold outreach (Day 0)
    • Step 2: Value-add follow-up, no "just checking in" (Day 3)
    • Step 3: Case study or social proof (Day 7)
    • Step 4: Breakup email, short, direct ask (Day 14)

    Adding delays

Delays are set in business days by default. Enable "Calendar days" in campaign settings if you want to include weekends. You can also set a specific send window (e.g., "only send between 8am-11am recipient's timezone").

    A/B testing

Each step carries a second body (bodyVariantB) you can write in the step editor. Nothing splits traffic between the two yet and nothing declares a winner: the send path does not read ab_test_enabled, and there is no significance test in the product. Treat the variant as a place to draft an alternative, not as a running experiment.

    Launching the sequence

Add leads to the campaign, review the preview, then click Launch. Revnox respects per-account sending limits and adds random delays between sends to avoid spam filters.
